Rent prices in San Antonio are even CHEAPER than San Marcos. O_O

Pro:
1) San Antonio is The Home City
2) Apartments are SUPER cheap. Like $600 for a 1 bedroom in a nice part of town.
3) More family in town.
4) Can not just make rent, but have TONS of cash left over.
5) Austin's only an hour away.

Cons:
1) Not exactly the most happenin' town.
2) Cheap does not necessarily mean nice.
3) Fewer friends in town.
4) Will have lot so of disposable cash to spend at...Wal-Mart. Blech.
5) Austin is an hour away.

I still don't think San Antonio is doable...it's too far away from Austin, in case I need to look for work here again, and while I'd make money hand over fist, I'll run into the same problem I ran into in San Marcos: Not Much to Do. Decisions decisions....
