Not only that, it's just plain wrong . . . I use the airline abbreviations as my default for abbreviations (I even know why Forth Worth was "ACF" at one point), and Austin has always been "AUS." Even after the move from Mueller to Bergstrom, they retained "AUS" as their callsign.

(Just last week I learned I'm dating the wife of a cousin of the man for whom Bergstrom was named. Just the circles in my life meeting one another again . . . .)
