The flat-roofed example is Col. Shipe's house; he was the developer of HP, an agent of the M-K-T railroad. The one below it with the turrets is actually a modern pastiche dating to the '90s. The school, of course, is the set for Friday Night Lights' Dillon High School. And the last one is the Covert mansion. The family made its first pile as a Studebaker wagon dealer, and extended into automobiles (where they still are) as those came along.
