While the pickup is possibly fixable, it's well beyond my ability to pay for it. Now, do I try to have dad fix it for free (his fixes are dangerous)? Sell it for scap to pay my medical bills? Use it as a trade-in on a new vehicle I can't really afford? I hate to do this to the old girl, but she may best serve me now as a source of a precious few dollars.
