I did manage to get Arch installed but was still getting a lot of non-fatal errors about the language settings. It wasn't until this morning I realized I set the language to "us_US.UTF-8" instead of "en_US.UTF-8."

Basically I told Linux I didn't speak English, I SPOKE 'MURICAN.
