I've learned throughout the years that no matter how hard I try, I'll never fit in. The problem lies not in a desire to conform, but the lack of a medium for understanding when interacting with those around me. A friend of mine once pointed out that there are Neophiles and Neophobes...Would it be crazy to say I'm a Neophile to such an extent that I abhor the mentality of Neophobes?
The fact is I've been conditioned to explore what's different and cherish variety when I find it. I'm not strange because of who and what I am. I'm who and what I am because I'm strange.
...Normal is for cornflakes and taxes.
