GOLEM STEAL OUR T!

Oh, I redid that Hapalos Artos bread recipe. It came out like a hockey puck, at least on the outside, which wasn't what it was supposed to be like (I think my oven is hotter than the dial tells it to be). Inside though? Oh, so tasty.

On to the next recipe.

They sell little oven thermometers you can use to calibrate your oven. They're only $5 or something like that at the grocery store. I used one in my oven, when I suspected that the temperature was off, and found a 50 degree difference.

I also use these - I have two! Turns out my current oven has a real problem with keeping a constant temperature. I have asked my landlord to have someone look at it and replace the thermometer in the oven (he hasn't done so yet).

That looks tasty : )
And I second the recommendation for an oven thermometer. I have the same problem that [livejournal.com profile] gentle_gamer has.

Also oven thermometers are nice to have with grills. ;)

...the kind you cook burgers on, not the teeth kind. Although I could see Flavor Flav working something out with an oven thermometer + the teeth kind.

I like the crunchy part :o

I don't think the crunchy parts are meant to be Hockey Puck Crunchy. :D
