The Universe doesn't give us any points for doing anything easy.

Sometimes I think about what I'm doing. Pulling up roots, moving clear across the country, this time dumping myself int he middle of world where I have few friends, and very little resources or trap doors waiting for me there.

I've done it before - I moved to PA for love, but I had a great safety net, and I needed it when everything up there collapsed around me. If everything goes to hell in Washington - things won't be as rosy as they were in PA...and it wasn't very rosy in PA.

But then when, I think of who I'm doing it for, I straighten my shirt, pull back my hair, and start walking straight into the hurricane force winds.

I worry a lot about this move. But I think it'll be worth it.
