CALLING ALL WRITERS

- IF you're interested in writing some fiction, pretty much anyway you choose with only a few ground rules, click HERE.

Some updates for the folks who've been asking me questions.

1) Yes, I will be writing a series "bible." More than likely this weekend, and posting it on my website. I would have done it sooner but I'm finding it hard to be real creative on a rolling 4 hours of sleep (I don't know how JMS does it).

2) There will be a few ground rules in order to keep some continuity. Mostly, don't mess with the characters too too much (Main character character development, yes! Main character gets severed limbs, no!) I'll also try to keep a running tab on the website of changes made to main character that can filter down through the remaining chapters. I may or may not have a story editor type thing going to check for continuity problems between chapters and attempt to smooth them out. Maybe.

3) If you feel like you want to do more than one story, please do so. 42 is a big number.

4) A list of the people (and the order their stories will appear in) who have signed on are:
a)jenndolari (First and Last chapters, maybe some other chapters inbetween)

5)Writing styles can vary widely. Comedy, drama, tragedy. I know this will prolly come across a lot like those semi-anthology series of the 70s (Logan's Run, Galactica, Completely Different Story and Location Every Episode in the Same Universe Type TV shows), but I rather liked those shows....

6)Get your friends involved. ;)

Mostly because I tend to write stuff in two drafts, one overly long detailed one, and one less detailed, but tailored to fit. ... Kinda like my support emails... one that has too much info, and one that has just enough info but I cringed removing stuff I spent time or research on . :p

the only thing I need is the basic personality of the girl and possibly the skeleton, one aspect of my story is dependent on how she acts. like is she a tomboy, or is she more feminine acting or what. Take all the time you need to figure it out though. No rush :)

That should be in the series bible. The idea, though, is that she's an 8 year old grown up to 18. She's maturer, knowledgeable but a total innocent. She WANTS to be the PRetty Princess type the 8 year old wanted, but at the same time, mature enough to know you need someone a little rougher around the edges in this world to get things done. Think Xena Lite, maybe even Gabrielle-ish.

having never seen the first episode of Xena the example isnt helpful, but I think I have a pretty good idea now.

I can easily work this into the story pretty good. Prepare for some funny from mine :)
