After an abysmal weekend, it's nice to wake up to a solid eight hours sleep, an excellent episode of Doctor Who, and Chinese food.

I so so so needed that.

And you still have a whole week off, right?

I was so impressed by Donna's Mom, huzzah going for the low tech route to solve a problem!

Hand Waving?

I don't know that I'm real keen on the Doctor's solution to the ATMOS gas. If he ignited something that comprised 66% of the Earth's atmosphere wouldn't it have any number of fire-related consequences, not least of which would be wildfires in the Western US the likes of which has never been seen, not to mention the damage to flying aircraft nor other unintended consequences of super-heating the atmostphere. No, instead "magic" happens and all of the clone feed is converted to breathable air and everyone (but Gramps) is fine? Other than this bit, I thought it was a wonderful episode, but I feel like they wrote themselves into a corner a bit by letting the ATMOS density climb too high and then hoping no one calls them on the flaming skies stuff... Loved seeing an old friend again too, if only for half a second!

I had the same kind of thoughts - hey, isn't that all comusting with our oxygen? Cause we kinda need that.

But then Doctor Who also has three explanations for how Atlantis sunk, so I'm willing to look the other way on a couple of occasions. :)

Just don't make a habit of it. :D
