I do wish you could stay up here for the weekend. Then I could play tourguide... : )

I wish, too! But Erin got first dibs since I'm staying with her. There're still the evenings of those one/two/three days. However, I'm just a 140 miles away: Maybe something for the NEXT weekend?

Can't wait to have you up here, though we are still trying to figure out the best bed solution. ^_^ Hope the drive goes well.

Oh, and in albuquerque, I highly recommend eating at the pueblo indian center. It's a very unique experience. Bring salt.

Still silence from the Fresno front. I'm going to see if I can dig up their phone number from way back in my archives, and once I'm down at your place give it a call and see whether it's still them or not.

Hullo. I'm friends with a number of people you know, have heard generally good things about you, and enjoy ClosetSpace rather a lot. Mind if I add you?

I second that. I had a friend who was an illegal from new zealand and when I drove her from texas to los angeles(In roughly the same path I might add ^_^) so that she could finally get back home, she had wanted to see the hoover dam. Only when we got there, they were pulling over every third car or so. We got waved through thank god, but if you don't have a passport or other id with you, avoid that area. And fill up in albuquerque. Once you hit the forest, there aren't any fillup stations until after the mountains thin out. We were on fumes for an hour and really anxious.

Thanks for the heads up - It's worth the Homeland BS to see if we can see Hoover Dam. I think if it's dark, though, we're going to skip Hoover Dam and skirt around it. Nothing screams "PULL ME OVER" like a mexican in a pickup with a tarp over it and a wayward Canadian. :)

Sure! No need to ask, just do it! :)

If we have enough time for dinner at the end of the day, sure, we'll stop by. If not, maybe breakfast?

But...social rules! Confusing overlapping interlocked unspoken conventions! You just don't do that! ;)
