I'll stand there thinking "who is this" when suddenly a bit of information from them cascades connections and the penny drops - most times. Once, i went to a student conference in Brisbane in 1997 and after seeing the film "Fifth Element" came out of the cinema and had a 10 minute conversation about it with someone I thought was at the conference. Turns out they weren't, but that they enjoyed the conversation!
