Writer's Block: You Ate What?

[Error: unknown template qotd]Twinkie Wiener Sandwhich.  Forced on us while watching UHF at Erin's house.

Surprisingly not bad.

Totally not doing it again.

Pick from among:

Nacho-cheese flavored dried mealworm. More or less like Chee-tos, but good for you.

Lutefisk...meh.

Beer float. Not root beer float, beer float. It was actually good.

Durian. I love these.

Kava. If you're not accustomed to it, it's like drinking a glass of water that smells like mud. The pleasant side effects kick in later.

Poi. Meh? I like taro products, but poi not as much.

Vegemite. And I've come close to madness trying to get it in the States.

Natto. Ick.

Alligator. Yum.

(There's a bunch of stuff that's odd to a Western palate, like kim chee and whatnot, that I don't consider remotely odd.)

You could get this at an Australian store across the street from the Alamo. Cause when you think of the Alamo, you think of Australia.

unfortunately I am very boring when it comes to food.

I suppose the goat meat I had recently at an Indian restaurant is my weirdest. It was quite good and I would totally have it again.

I don't know if the Sashimi I had at a Japanese restaurant counts as weird. It was nasty and I wont touch it again (except for the octopus)
