Imagine Muzak.

And a car alarm.

This will either terrorize you, or fulfill your deepest wishes. :)

What Planet is This?
From the website:
I want you to imagine the following movie: Godfather of Soul James Brown is on the run from the law, with a bounty on his head. He steals the Blues Brothers' car and a wild chase ensues down the streets of Chicago. Except the cops after him are the guys from CHiPS. And Spike is in pursuit overhead in the Swordfish. Oh, and it's 1975. Get the picture? Good, because What Planet Is This is the theme song for THAT MOVIE. When I turned up the volume, the horn section LEAPED OUT OF MY SPEAKERS AND ATE ME ALIVE. [...] Three words: OH HELL YES.

I didn't start watching Cowboy Bebop until recently. I had given up on anime in the early 90s and only recently gotten back into it. TO think I was not only missing a goo show, but a kick ass soundtrack, too. I love Japanese-Pop and I love Jazz. Who woulda thunkit that someone put them together? :)

It's been nonstop in my CD Player for WEEKS. :)

Took a few plays for me to start liking it, but it seems pretty cool once you get used to it.

It does scare the sneezy weasel, though :)

I like What Planet is This, cause I can see a troupe of JAmes Brown imitators in the 2070s singing this, and collectively "giving up" on the song, walking to the back, getting a coat thrown over them and collectively coming back to finish the song. :)
