Please forgive my typos and complete lack of any type of coherency - it's VERY VERY late and that means really small sentences, and disjointed thingies.
I'm a bit nervous about the interview. I'm really wondering if this whole techy thing is really for me. The more I think about my upcoming interview with Apple, the more I being to think that this is 180 degrees from my Dell interview. With Dell I was confident, happy and expectant. Here I'm worried, nervous and even a bit of dread.
Good news is, that I've got some info for some San Fran stuff running around, thanks to Alison should Apple fall through. I gotta admit, with this feeling of doom about Apple, I may need to go that way.
I finished a big personal writing project today. Something that really means a lot to me. Depending on the reviews of a few friends, I may put it up publicly. I keep being told it's vivid and great. But I need to know if there are any flaws that need fixin', before I put it out for the general public to tear it to shreds.
Today the Ex came over, and we went out to Book People, one of my fave bookstores. I couldn't find a thing I wanted (actually, I did, I just can't afford them), then went out to dinner at Taco Cabana. A few rounds of Street Fighter EX + Alpha later and she was off. I had an excellent talk with Alison (via ICQ). I like talking with her, because I can talk nitty-gritty stuff with her. Everyone else, it's video games or Transformers or really ephemeral stuff. Most of ICQ is dessert. Alison and Deener are main courses.
I saw a REALLY disturbing show, too. It was like a train wreck, I couldn't turn my eyes away from it. IT was all about explosions. Big, small, massive, rocket fuel powered explosions. Kinda funky.
And from that to Sesame Street. I gotta admit their new opening is scads better than that JAmacan rearrangement sounding thing. I hate that, and thought it was stupid. I still want the originla 1970s version, though. THAT to me, is Sesame Street.
Gordon never ages. I figure he's a vampire, eating the pure essence that was former child cast members.
JENN.EXE has preformed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
