The sadness from the show ended pretty quickly, and I ran off for some groceries. FINALLY got the all important salt, milk, cereal and even some chicken. Enough groceries for a few days, and all for $15.
Some more stuff has come in on The Secret Writing Project of Doom. This time a little critical, which is a good thing. I need to break up the story a little, something I forgot completely to do.
But the thing that got me today. And I mean really bouncy, was finding some old Ranma MP3s. WOW - the memories. I'm prolly coming across as Supreme Geek of All Time, constantly mentioning Doctor Who and Anime, but dammit, it's fun. And Ranma was one of the last I saw. It's nice to have some of the music from the series on my hard drive now.
Foreign music is always so much cooler than what we have here. Alison really turned me on to Australian music, although I never was able to get to 4ZZZ. I did listen to 4JJJ, which I really got into. Japanese music rocks, too...I remember listening to Shonen Knife before they showed up in America. I like. I like a lot. I'm waiting for the current phase of Pretty Boy music to fade away (it always does...remember New Kids? Vanilla Ice?) before I really get back into domestic music again.
Until then I have the Japanese Yodeling Song. :)
