My attitude of "Money is more important than happiness" is because everytime I've chased happiness, I'm usually left broke and miserable for months or even years on end. When I'm making money, at least I can BUY small comforts.
Like right now: Do I come home to Texas, without any plans for money? Or do I stay in Seattle, where I cant stand being, but have money to live on?
It's a tough choice, and, frankly, money to survive and live on is more important than the destitute happiness of Texas.
