You know, there's not much to say when there's nothing worth bitching about. :)
And the fact that I've really done nothing these last two days. Well, not NOTHING. Mostly I drew like mad, and even now and trying to get the last Closetspace panel colored and finished before 4AM.
Hopefully, when I get myself settled in a but more, and unpacked, and a routine going, I'll have more time for fun stuff, instead of CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN -> DRAW DRAW DRAW.
I gotta say, though, this computer is FAST. In the time it takes me to color in three or four panels on my own machine, I've done eleven. Not to mention that AWFW #18 is completely resized and composited as well. All it needs now is lettering.
I finally unpacked ALL my stuff yesterday, and repacked it so that I know what has gone where. I've lived out of boxes before, and have no problem living out of them now...but I had a bit of a wierd...almost happiness...about one garment. :)
I unpacked ALL my blouses, ALL my skirts, slacks, jeans, undies....and I repacked them according to blouses, pants, skirts and shorts/undies. I put my black and white tights into the box marked undies...and found a pair of pantyhose.
I looked at them like I had just found an old friend. Yes, women hate pantyhose, but to me it was like seeing my own little red badge of courage. I hadn't worn that pair since I left Dell.
So here I was, confronted by something that just completely reminded me of myself. And I got a little teary. And I put it in the undies box.
I've had to be That Other Person for so long, I was teareing up at a garment EVERY woman loves to hate. How pathetic is that? ::laugh:: At least now I've unpacked my blouses and female slacks. I'm tired of the same three T-shirts and male jeans I've been wearing while in exile.
I read the Star Trek X script. I will say it's an intriguing idea, and looks very good on paper. The end looks good, and it's definately set up as The Last of the Star Trek Movies. And, it has an ending! WOO! I've hated the last two movie's ending. First Contact beats up the borg, and then just...goes home. Insurrection has this whole "Something is wrong with the federation" and beats up the Son'A...then goes home.... If the current Star Trek producers had their way, Star Trek II would have ended with the Reliant Blowing up...and then the ship going home...with Spock's burial casket flying by while the credits ran.
(SPOILERS)
Anyways, my main fault with the script is the Romulan takeover. For such a Police State the coup happens awfully easily. Hopefully they'll make up for it by showing action on screen that explains WHY it happens so trouble free.
(END SPOILERS)
Tomorrow I'm seeing Dean. We're having the day together hopefully, without the interruptions of a certain person. She can bite me.
Hopefully, I'll get AWFW and CS all done tomorrow. I'm still a week behind of where I wanna be with CS, so if anyone wants to do a one-shot episode, PLEASE let me know...getting time to do that extra strip is kicking my butt!
