I slept twelve hours today - not necessarily a good thing....I stayed up a bit late talking with Erin and Marca who woke up at 5AM (Erin at 4:30). I usually go to bed about 5AM...stayed up the extra thirty and what happens? I wake up at about 5PM.

So I'm way off...I take my shower and simply don't have time to clean the house before they come home.

So I give up - and start drawing instead. Which is not necessarily a bad thing...when they do get here, they're mildly annoyed with each other. Erin's surgery is prolly hurting her, Marca is off kilter whenever Erin is, so I just played it safe and drew.

And watched RAW for the first time in forever. ::GRIN::

Andy comes home WAY early tomorrow - I thought he was spending a few WEEKS out there, not just one. Guess everyone comes home early....

I've managed to pencil in all of CS #10 - this time paying more attention to Detail (CS #9 SUCKED) and more variation in the angles (no more talking heads) and more detailed backgrounds.

Now...a question for the peanut gallery (and soon to be posted at the Message Board that Time Forgot). I have access to a nice fast machine. This means that, for a temporary period, I can do strips in Color in HALF the time it takes me to do B&W strips on my older computer.

Should I do as many strips as I can in color? Or should I stick with B&W for the whole run. CHOOSE WISELY.

Actually, I plan to do them in color anyways, and greyscale them for publication while I got the P4 to number crunch for me.

In other news, we have two guest artists coming up for Episode #20 and #21 of AWFW. This gives me time to catch up on Closetspace. WOO!

I read ERin's paper journal last night - it's pretty funny...but only if you're not the one actually having to live it. :)

Colour, of course.

I'm biased, of course ^_^

Color is nice, as long as it really doesn't take any more time than grayscale, but only for Closetspace. I think AWFW works best in monochrome, with color highlights.

no color!

I vote for b&w. Ever since I got hooked on Scott McCloud's Zot! comics, I realized that to me, color is for little kids' comics and black and white is there for mature artists to show their talents in shading and nuances that get lost in colors (unless you do thousands of colors, which is highly unlikely). McCloud did some awesome work in b&w, and has forever biased me against color comics.

I've gotta say b&w, the shading shows up better, I think, and I happen to like the way the b&w turned out....
