Can't sleep - clowns will eat me.
One thing I hate about job interviews is they simply don't take night people into account. I ended up going to be last night at about 3AM, waking up at 9AM for the interview with Apple. Six hours of sleep. It's 3AM now, and I haven't slept since (minus a twenty minute nap earlier). I found myself falling asleep about 10PM. This will NOT do. I ran out and grabbed a 64 ounce Coke. This is NOT a good thing for Jenn, as she is trying to lose weight. It is a good thing so that my sleep schedule doesn't go all wacky and I get into the weird 4 hours of sleep twice a day schedule I WILL get into if I don't.
TV says donuts are high in fat. Kazoo. Found a hobo in my room. It's Princess Leia. The Yodel of Life. Give me my sweater back or I'll play the guitar.
The interview itself went pretty well, I think. The guy interviewing me was very imposing, but I knew most of the answers to his tech questions and customer service stuff. The interview was REALLY surface level stuff...my Dell interview was much more in depth. When I went to Dell, my interviews lasted about two hours a piece with several people. Apple - one person for 30 minutes.
Other than that, I attempted to make fideo. For the uninitiated, this is a weird special kind oof vermicelli, and it's usually very good - until I realized I had no salt. So it was pretty bland. I added a little cheese to make it salty. Didn't work. Drenched it in ketchup. Bleh. Now I've got a stomach ache. At least it helps to stay up.

Got in touch with an old friend in San Antonio today. HAven't talked to him in almost a year. We talked Doctor Who, and Anime and Movies. Fun fun fun. Some Anime movie is opening up at the Dobie, and I do plan to stop by and check it out.
Talked to the family yesterday. I get kinda upset sometimes. Anytime I talk to them it's "Why don't you visit?" They proceed to bribe me or blackmail me ("You know, we have your registration here - it's three days overdue, and we won't mail it.") They make it sound like I never visit. I call them every week, I visit once a month (You'd think after visiting them once every two years or so, they'd LIKE once a month), and it's never enough. I tell them I may be moving in, and they wanna see me this week any ways. "Just move down here now. We'll move your stuff down over the next month." My family is rather...suffocating. Why do you think I moved to Pennsylvania to being with?
My personal writing project has received major kudos and only a few real nitpicks, most of which, while valid, were done for a specific reason. I'll see about adding it to the homepage by Friday. Hopefully, it'll survive public scrutiny. :)
Tomorrow I'll add the rest of the entries to my Dream Journal. I've got a ton to do, and I need to be done by the 31st should I get the Apple job.
Mapquest FINALLY decided to be good. Here's the 411 on that trip:
Total Distance:
357.2 miles
Estimated Driving Time:
15 hours, 18 minutes
In the last few days, a buncha people have added me to their lists. It's appreciated. :) Hopefully, I'm makin' for good readin'.
Oh, talked to Nica on ICQ. She's a sweetie.
I'm so tired right now, I'm drawing a blank on stuff I wanted to write about. So...very...tried.
