Waking up late wasn't such a bad thing - I woke up to a wonderful BarBCue dinner, and a most excellent Red Velvet Cake, which may move Black Forest Cake into second place of my favorites cakes.

Other than that, I reaquainted myself with some JApanese cartoons that Adult Swim is showing. Still love Cowboy Bebop. NEver saw Tenchi Muyo before, but it was very good. Didn't like Gundam 0083, but I never like Gundam to begin with. Yuu Yuu Hashuuko may grow on me. Then Igot to see Superman, batman, Batman Beyond, Justice LEague...all in all an animated night of fun fun fun!

And I found out the original Adult Swim still exists, too! WOO! HAppy camper!

I've prolly said it a million times, but A Wish for Wings is actually a symbolic telling of my want to be an animator/comic artist. My want to be a cartoonist started off with Robotech. I had always been fascinated by Japanese cartoons, such as Battle of the Planets and Star Blazers. But Robotech came abotu at a time that I tried to figure out what I wanted to do in my life.

This one's for you, Chuck.

And, if you look carefully at Andrea's mother, you'll notice she looks an awful lot like Lisa Hayes from Robotech. She'd better. I lifted the hair color and skin tone direct from the comics.

Lisa from Robotech represents the mother of my original wish to cartoon. I wouldn't doubt you will see Fae Valentine from Cowboy Bebop at one point, revitalizing a wish after being dealt some serious blows to Andrea's "career."

Tomorrow I start work on the animated banner for us-highways. My first animated commission! :)

Well...I like to call it a commission. I'm doing it for free as it is. :)

Okay, so far in the Corporate World Story we have:

Our Hero
Bill Donley. 27 year old Accounting Manager swept up into this rebellion.

The Bad Guys (all elves)
An unnamed male Head Honcho
An unnamed female Vice Head Honcho
An unnamed female Seargant At Arms

The Good Guys
The unnamed male Rebel Leader Elf.
An unnamed female Vice Rebel Leader Elf.
A Llanorian female (an alien race of Humanlike Plants from my Atlantica Story) named Mekilsha, a sword trainer.
A male Calinian (from the Book of Zand, Books 9 and 10) named Pochutl, a martial arts trainer.
An unamed (male? female?) Elf who basically owns the hideout they reside in, selling fish.

The Extras
Shadowy unknown Elves, Humans and Llanorians for both the good guys and bad guys who will let me know when they need to be part of the story. :)

From what I gather, Elves use a lot of specific syllables in their names, such as "El" and "Ur" . Any elves still reading this journal (I doubt more than two) care to shoot off some names? I'm too afraid I'll make something up that translates to "Lingerie Brickbrat" "Three seated fur covered family credunza" or "Andy Rooney."

Stupid Jenn Fact #86725C - Did you know that al my (human) characters have last names that are counties in Texas? Why? 'Cause I can never think up any good ones on my own. Only one character I've written (as a human) has a last name that isn't a Texas county, and that's Zand. His last name? Corrinega.

One of them has two counties in his name - Mason Kendall. Anyone who can figure out why gets a cookie. There IS a specific reason for it. ButI wont' tell, even if no one gets it. :)

I Am A: Neutral Good Elf Ranger Cleric

Alignment:
Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.

Race:
Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently conccern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.

Primary Class:
Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

Secondary Class:
Clerics are the voices of their God/desses on Earth. They perform the work of their deity, but this doesn't mean that they preach to a congregation all their lives. If their deity needs something done, they will do it, and can call upon that deity's power to accomplish their goals.
