I spent most of the day working on the animation, and...well...I'm still none too happy with it, this time with the image I took for a background. I managed to find an EXCELLENT picture on the web, EXACTLY what I was looking for. So I took it, ran it through about six filters to get an oil painted look to it (Best when using a photo as a background to a cartoon). Resized and added the girl in...all took about four hours of resizing and mixing and matching the exact animation.

Then I promptly deleted it.

First off, I didn't feel it was right taking a photo and filtering it as part of my own image. I've got a huge collection of panorama shots, I'll try and use one of my own. 2nd it was WAY too cartoony, I filtered it way too much and it ended up looking like a scene right out of South Park. So the hunt is on for a nice pastoral picture.

In other news, I'm working on the Corporate Story, which I still don't have a name for. However, the first episode will be called "The Fact of Fiction" and will be very very very Dr. Who-like. Polychronicon (originally) and Closetspace were setup to be a series. 1 Episode per "story." This story will be written more as four episodes per story, loosely linked with an arc over the series. Of course, that's all moot is the format I use doesn't match the "episodes" thingy like Closetspace (Originally set for 25 "episodes" now being broken up into however many pages it takes to tell it).

It's COLD out there. ME likes very much. This is the kinda cold I like. In PA it was like this EVERYDAY for all winter. I can live with 18 as a Low for two days. :) Now if we could JUST get some snow.

Tomorrow the 'rents are going to Laredo. Standard Operating PRocedure - I won't be left with a vehicle. Hopefully they'll leave some cash so I can get a pizza or something. I don't like being left alone. Actually, I do. I don't like being abandoned with no way to get anywhere.

::shrugs::

No amount of goodwill or positive thoughts or happy thinking is getting me out of here any sooner. :P

Many thanks to Deener:

Somethin' weird happened.

FUN-KEE.

The secret for me now is to figure out if I experienced this...or imagined it...or by imagining it experienced it. IT's FUNKY.

4AM, I sit down to do some meditation...and something is way wrong from the very beginning. Well, maybe wrong is the wrong word. Different. Something is way different from the very beginning.

Usually when I start my meditation,I start by imagining myself on top of a cloud, then flying down to the surface. I didn't so much fly down this time as I power bombed down. I flew WAY down WAY quick. The colors I saw on the way down were the same I always see, but they were BRIGHT.

Once down on the ground, I seemed to immediately dismiss the day into night, and dissipate the thundercloud I usually have overhead at all times.

I was actually a bit scared by the speed of all this. I seemed to be on fast forward, jumpy and lightning fast. Normally, when I do anything in meditation, I walk or fly. And when I fly, it's very slow "Supergirl" type flying. This was more like Tinkerbell flitting about, or a moth zipping around a light. The dark kinda took me and scared me, so I conjured up a Nakoruru sword and etched out a circle on the dirt in front of me, and sat in the middle of it. I'd seen something like it in stories as a way of semi protecting yourself from nastiest.

As soon as I sat in the middle of the circle I felt a spot light on me, and it was coming from a completely full moon. But the moon had no features to it - it was just like a big round golf ball. It began to rotate around me with the spotlight always on me and matching the border of the circle perfectly. IT rotated around me about three times until I noticed a small "spark" fly down into a forest near me. I watched the spark go into this forest, and I could "see" it through the trees, though it was prolly about a quarter mile away from me.

With the moon still overhead, I left the circle...I didn't seem to walk or run....I "zoomed." Downright flew to the spark. Kinda like watching the speeder bike chase through the forest in ROTJ but without the speeder bikes. I reached a clearing where a HUGE woman was sitting. She looked like the Nature Sprite from Fantasia 2000, but was just sitting there on a cement block.

When I got there, she stood up and was gargantuan. At my full height, I only reached up to her knee. I tugged on her dress, and she reached down, looked at me, nuzzled me . She put me down, and as she did, I noticed behind her were the ruins of a Parthenon type temple.

I rebuilt the temple...literally while zooming again. It was a lightning flash. When I turned around she was looking at me with this strange smile and then "zoomed" away outside the forest. I saw her hugging what looked like the Man Mountain of Dzxox from Mage II. For those of you in suspense, The Man Mountain is quite literally that. A man made of rock. Who wears a helmet. With bright round eyes. And (wait for it...wait for it...) longhorns. (One (maybe two) of you is giggling out there).

I just looked at the two of them, looked back at the temple...looked back at the two of them...and thought to myself "Okay...now what?" And they disappeared. As they did so,the sky turned pink like an early morning. Again I zoomed back out, and found the circle I had etched. Sitting in front of it was a campfire I hadn't noticed before. It was still smoldering.... I thought to myself that someone was here, and a "puff" of smoke came from the fire. The sky began to hit sunrise and was bight pinkish orange.

And at that exact moment, in the "real" world...I felt "someone" sit next to me. At first I didn't know what was up, but there was definitely someone there. And that's when I became startled. It was weird...like I knew someone was there, but it didn't register for a few second...just a "huh...something's there...what a weird...OH SHIT!"

I had figured the whole thing lasted five minutes. According to the clock on my VCR, twenty minutes had passed.

And now my back hurts like the dickens. Actually, this has gotten really weird the last few days. While meditating a few days ago I felt that I had a cannon inside my spine and it was sucking up power like a straw waiting to fire it like a gun. FREAKY.

For those of you in the know out there...this is kinda scary. A little bit of reassurance that this is an okay thing would be nice. :)

I forgot why I like Lucha Libre so much.

Last night I got to see a three way tag match between the Power Rangers, The Kiss Army and The Goat Boys in a twenty minute high flying acrobatic match.

I was waiting for a run-in by the Ninja Turtles. :) It happens in Mexican Wrestling, you know. :)

Even when she's gone, she makes her presence known.

The VCR in the living room, the loft and my parents room are all recording the SAME show. Mom just caled to make sure all three were going. I am not to turn any of them off.

Control freak.
