What was the final nail that broke the camels back?

John Nathan-Turner died yesterday. Wow. He was 54. (If you don't know who he is, don't concern yourself with him...if you wanna know, hit the IMDB)

Anyways, I had to delve back into my old Roman Catholic roots today for information on a cousin's quincan~era. (I need a shower. :) ) A quincan~iera is a debut/confirmation celebration that Mexican Catholics do when their girls hit 15 (sometimes 16, but that's frowned on). It's usually a huge deal for everyone involved. Mom's been working for months on the decorations, has about seven cakes sitting on a table downstairs and a massive carousel and carriage cake stand all set up. I was "volunteered" to write up the "Quincan~iera FAQ" (thanks, Erin). I'm not invited, and I'm very grateful...I'm beginning to notice certain family members acting rather badly to me when they call. I think my "Secret" is out...not that I was keeping it secret...I'm in the closet, yeah, but only because my parents are nailing me shut in there while I look for a new job.

So I have Saturday all to myself - if I have the pickup Ill go out. If I don't, I'll take a bike somewhere. Any suggestions as to where to go?

Dean has invited me to Enchanted Rock with him and his parents on Monday. I'd like to go if I can get the truck....

More and more, I'm learning that the audience for the journal is REALLY REALLY big. I have a request....if you read this, leave a comment on this entry. If you're on my friends list, you don't have to (I suffer from the conceit that you all read my journal on an hourly basis as is :) )...my main deal is to know who is reading this that I don't know about.

That will probably make everyone all the more sneakier, Jenn. ;)

Also, anyone know how much a copy of Macromedia Flash costs? Anyone willing to teach me a bit of Flash? I'll show you how to make an EXE that puts your name on teh screen, so you can add C++ to your resume. ;) I figure, I should prolly brush up on my HTML, learn a bit of flash sicne there're a LOT of jobs otu there for web designers. I've got the design down pat, it's the javascript, SQL, Flash and other stuff I dunno.

Should I add the Shadows and Hanna to the Cast list for AWFW? Even though they're only recurring characters? (Hanna will only probably be seen two more times after this adventure, while the Shadows come back, just not often).

Banners! Which banner should I do for AWFW?

Très mûre, tu es rationnele et logique...Bref, tu as les pieds sur terre. Mais tu n'es pas non plus use "intello" même si tu es douée en cours. Tu es une vraie grande sŒur (sæur?) pour les Spies et tu es capable de trouver des solutions aux problèmes logiques qui demandent sang froid ey concentration. Tu sais tout simplement rester dans la bonne voie tant en classe que sur le terrain!
