The interview went off without a hitch...which is great considering I forgot my notes that told me where the interview was, and who I was interviewing with.

On the way there, I realized I'm almost out of makeup...I need to buy more ASAP (assuming I can get some cash). For the tranny, makeup is the most important thing in life, moreso than food. Make up hides the male in you, and without it, work becomes a VERY VERY VERY uncomfortable place for everyone.

Onc eI managed to find the place, I pulled in, checked my hair and makeup and walked into the lobby. Already I'm in luck, out of the five people I saw, only one was male. This SO rocks. The receptionist and I talked a bit...and then another recpetionist came in. She not only gave me The Look...you could tell she was downright offended. Snag #1.

The manager called me in for my interview...and not only gave me The Look...but lingered on it. Gave me the once over. I had to introduce myself to sort of catch her attention again...but after that, the interview just went off like gangbusters. She showed me the work I'd be doing, baically recreating and pasting in ads, mostly...all of it in Quark Express (I have 0 experience in Quark, but I do know Pagemaker 6.52 which I'm told is pretty similar). After a time, we really stopped talking about the job, and talking about the town and such. She said being TS was no professional problem (fine by me!) and that the town is actually very very gay friendly (she brought it up, not me, by the way). I left there thinking "Wow! That was a GREAT interview!" She seemed genuinely impressed, and happy that I knew at least what was going on.

There are 10 applicants, I will know something Good or Bad on Friday.

And then I took a nap. :)

I'd been wanting to map out the statistic Keenspace gives us for my comics recently...and considering the two major "burps" they've had since I started using them, I decided to go back, pull the statistics out on my own, and recode them as public pages. According to these statistic, my readership is up 10% from a year ago when I started writing Closetspace. I'll do AWFW tomorrow.
