I had a big write up planned for what I did Friday...but decided to post pictures instead.

Digital cameras rock.

This way to fun! )

In a blatant display of trying to force "attrition," Dell has assigned several of the people in my group to 4x10 days, at impossible hours. I've been given a 2PM to 1AM Sun-Tue, Friday shift. I'm VERY VERY VERY unhappy with this. Not so much the hours, but the 4x10, and the fact that they actually seemed to use the "Request a shift" form to give you EXACTLY the opposite of what you wanted.

I gott agive them this. Their plan is working perfectly: I want out of Dell. If not before, definately now.

You know, the other day, I seriously thought I wsa having a breakdown. With moving, and packing and working, I had NO timefor anything. My days were non stop work. And I freaked out one day.

I have since calmed down, but already, I'm gettnig worked up into a frenzy. I realized I hadn't bought groceries in weeks, and with groceries, a misbehaving truck, dinner and attempted moving, again, I'm left at the end of the day panting. There's just no TIME.

And now with this stupid 4x10 schedule, I'll have even less of it (Don't give me this "You'll have three days off!" It takes one day to jus RECOVER from a 4x10 schedule. ) I can just feel the freakout starting up in the back of my head.

There's just NO TIME.
