Here's something that usually doesn't happen - I ran out of paper. I have, like, five reams of scrap paper I got from Kinko's, and took about 2 with me from home in 2001...and I'm out. I guess I could buy 50 sheets and hope that holds out till I get back to SA to pick up another couple of reams of paper.

After a nice dinner of Indian food, I sat down and watched movies (spoiler warnings apply, but really only on one, cause you'll never see the other two):

Psychomania - I picked this up at the urging of Katrus. Basically, a rather tame biker gang decides that if you kill yourself, and TRULY believe you'll come back, you will. So they all kill themselves, so they can do truly stupid things like go swimming with iron chains, or hang themselves and swing around, or jump out of windows instead of using elevators. There is a funeral scene in this movie, though, that. When I die, I want to be buried on my hog, with my head sticking up out of the ground, while biker gangs sing hippy tunes.

Chicago - I didn't think I'd like this all that much, but I did. The last half plays like Law & Order the musical. The moral of the story is "If you're really whiny and self centered, self-serving lawyers will save your ass from the death penalty AND you'll get everything you wanted."

Blackentein - I coulda sworn I bought the DVD version of this, not the VHS. It was like watching low grade porn without the porn. There were all sorts of wierdness in this, such as gratuitous shots of intestines being fondled, long ponderous shots of a slow moving Blackenstien crossing rooms for five minutes a piece and a totally unfunny lounge act near the end. Best part is the box cover where someone airburshed a BIGGER Afro on Blackenstein.

I go to work tomorrow. My stomach knots up when I think about this. I need a vacation. :P

Oh, this isn't good. I just realized my computer will call the Realtime San Antonio number anytime the Austin number fails to connect the first time. And that's a LOT. Who knows how many hours it's been sitting on the line with a long distance number instead of the local number.

This phone bill is gonna hurt.

I could get to like these hours - although I havne't even gone to work yet.

It's nice to be able to wake up without an alarm clock, have my afternoons open, take my time to make my meals, watch a little TV. The morning shower that usually takes me 45 minutes (most of that straining to wake up, and move faster than a sloth) took 15 minutes....

If the overnights are anything like the later part of my 2PM-11PM shift, it will be 10 hours of very very very long spaces of nothing, which is good. The nice thing about phone work, is not doing it. :)

I'm in a great mood...but, like I said, I haven't gone to work yet. :)
