Jenn: "To be or not to be...that is the question. Wether it is nobler in the hear to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, and by opposing end them. Or...or...while I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping! Tapping on my chamber door..."
Dean: "BEWARE THE JABBERWOCK MY SON!"

Well, it cracked US up....

About the quality of the comics AND the missing three panels of the comics I promised last week.

Saturday, while I was asleep, I moved over and fell out of bed, severely messing up my back.I could barely move most of the day, and if I wasn't standing straight up I was in a good deal of pain.

I started inking some of the comics, but the sitting put such a strain on my back that I really had to give up and stand up for a while. After a few hours of working and standing and working and standing...I decided that 18 panels of inking just weren't going to cut it. Not to mention that I barely got trough anything. SO I cheated - I scanned in my pencils and did some filtering that made them thicker and darker, and quickly filled them in. This resulted in USABLE pencils, but very rough sketchy inks. But with my back, I wasn't about to hunch over for a few hours and do all those comics.

I thought I could do all 18 panels, but my back wasn't having any of that, so we only got the original 12 I'd planned. I'll scan up the missing 3 panel's pencils later on after I get some sleep with the text I planned for it. You can read next week's comics without knowing what was in those three panels, but I feel I owe it to y'all that you at least SEE it. :)

Man, lettering never felt so good (I layed on the couch while I did that).

I would have just skipped this week two, but three skips in one month is NOT good, especially the month before a convention appearance. :)
