I broke Trillian. :) I'd noticed that lately, all the people I was adding to my buddy lists weren't showing up as online. So I figured I'd add my third IM name, and see if she showed up when I was online. She didn't....

That's when I thought - hey, didn't AIM have a 200 buddy limit?

And don't I have a LOT of buddies?

I've been on AIM since 1995, 1996. (ICQ even longer) and anytime ANYONE has IMmed me, I've added them to my list (unless it was spam). some of the people on my list talked to me twice and never signed on again...so, if they hadn't been talked to since 2000, I removed them. I had 225 Buddies. :)

All fixed, people are showing up on my list as online again, so all is well. I think the oldest AIM name on there was one from 1996...

I really need to be more confident online. I had a heart-to-heart with a friend last night, and I think I left her feeling disapointed in me. The problem isn't my own self-confidence online, but the fact that I have trouble "reading" people online. I dunno if this person went offline feeling sorry for me, mourning me, or giving me a pat on the back, and it bugs me.

I'll prolly see her again tonight and find out one way or another. :)
