Well, 5th Annual 4th National Jenn day was an 83% success.

The day was nice and easy at work...light workload, lots of slow time. The best kind of work to do on a Self Proclaimed Holiday (the Nation has yet to recognize this God Given Holiday). I went off diet for a dinner of Taco Cabana, bought some nice DVDs and books from Amazon as presents and really enjoyed my day.

Till about 6AM. I went to Krispy Kreme to pick up a Frozen Blend Choclate Blend thing I'm really addicted to. And that's when the cashier told me "I'm sorry, I can't take your credit card." So I asked why. "You're not Jennifer." So, as usual when this happens I show her my ID. "Im sorry, but this is obviously a fake."

I point to the "M" on the ID.

"Well, I'll accept it this time..."

This is NOT the first time this has happened to me. It usually happens once a month or so, and has resulted in me spending a LOT more money on shipping at expensive online stores because I find the overpriced items to be worth it when faced with a line of people behind me when a cashier decides I'm not female enough to buy something.

This is the kind of idiocy that has made me a shut in. I buy my clothes and shoes online, as well as games, toys and other things. I never EVER sit down eat at restaurants (Royer's is the only exception) becuase I've had someone do stuff to my food. And if I could buy groceries online, I would.

Why, no, Mom. This isn't a choice. I don't LIKE paying up the wazoo for crap, or eating cold food out of a styrofoam container.

::grumble::

And now the P button on my laptop is going out.

I'm sorry the last few entries have been so negative, but...well...ain't all my fault.

Well, everyone is politically chiming in, so here's my two cents (as pulled from comments to a friend on her political comment):

It's a sad state of politics when you pretty much have to vote to get someone OUT of office, than vote who DESERVES to be in office.

I was a HUGE Dean fan, and thought his assasination in the media was completely undeserved. I saw a guy who I really trusted, and agreed with a lot of his platform, get destroyed for having a good time...

This is the first election where I really feel cheated, am unhappy with ALL my choices (With Austin getting gerrymandered by Texas Republicans afraid of our Liberalness, my choices for everything are Far Right and REALLY Far Right), and am only voting Kerry because the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

That is NOT how to have an election.

I endorse no one. Just get Bush out of office. Any way, shape or form. And hope his replacement is any better.
