Cooch Cash v3.0: $250
The idea is to save up $250 a week until I hit the $8000 mark (roughly 8 months) or possibly in July if my Benefactor (whose legs kick ass three different ways) is able to pitch in. Eitherway, this IS getting done, dammit. My only big expenses I'm seeing is getting 3 months worth of medication at a time via the Online Pharmacy, and plane tickets for Trinoc-con (Erin and I will again be sharing a room, but for the first time, it'll be comped! They like us! They really like us!) Beyond that, if I can just keep up with my budget, and keep the luxuries down to a minimum I can (and WILL) do this. And that truck better not break down....
Today was the first day of the $250 Cooch Cash deductions. I was really worried since I figured after the $250 and trying to fix the !@#(*^$ overdraft fee I was charged with AND three months of pills, I'd end up with a grand total of $31 for the week. Considering I had a wierd and frustrating day at work, I was just jumping off the walls to see $600 in my account instead of $470. Seems Uncle Sam was pretty quick on the tax refund. Now I can get my pills, save some money, get out of the red, and STILL have some grocery cash left over.
Speaking of money, I'm seriously considering shutting the comics stores down. I put them up after everyone said "I want to buy X Y And Z!" and then...well...they didn't come. Considering the time I spend trying to make new stuff for it, and how my work likes to crush me under their heels, I just need to lay off of it. You wanna buy something Closetspace related? Run to Trinoc. :)
They're using my "Webcomic Win Lose or Draw" suggestion for Trinoc. Oh, dear.
And one a final note: My Boots are Damned Comfy
