With the late comics, I decided to put off the Erin visit until today. However my body decided that no matter HOW late I went to bed, I WAS TO BE AWAKE AT 4:30PM. This resulted in five hours of sleep. Oh, well, maybe it's empathy for keeping #9 awake all night typing.

So I spent the day mostly puttering around, cleaning here and there, calling Dad for his birthday and whatnot.

When Dean got home, well, that's when things took a bit of a turn for the worse. Not BECAUSE of him, but because now someone was here to take pics...

We both really don't like taking pictures, but, I didn't want to leave #9 with no pics of me, so I arranged for Dean to take a few.

I've always had a problem with weight, but before 2001, it was never much of a problem. Around 2001, when my world fell apart in June, I began binge eating, and gaining HUGE amounts of weight. I'm prolly a good 75 pounds heavier than I was around 2001. And along with that weight, my already large double chin (my whole family has huge double chins, no matter how thin they are, they literally have a "Drape" of skin covering their necks) has gotten HUGE. And as far as I've heard from my other athletic members of the family, that's not coming off unless I chop it off.

Like last night's pic, when I DO take pics, I do my best to hide that chin. I took a pretty dull pic in the bathroom mirror, where I strategically hid that chin. But then Dean took a few, and ::uhg:: there they were. Pics of me can make me physically ill, and these began to do so.

I've even had someone specifically tell me they would have dated me if it wasn't for the freakish double chin. I've said it once, I'll say it again. If I was to win the lottery, I'd have so much surgery, Michael Jackson would look normal.

I'm hoping I'll be in a better frame of mind tomorrow, and will try again. But I'm not all that hopeful.

Thankfully, I think Emily read into this, and got on the subject of photos in general instead of photos of each other. We both seem to have a knack for photography, and a love of Nature and Wildernesseseeses.

Many pictures were traded. :)

I'm still kinda down, but distracting myself as best as I can. Celestia is running on my secondary monitor. I'm currenly orbiting Saturn at 100x Real Time at 1,228,904 km. It's really stunning to see it orbiting in space like it's really there, with all it's moons moving around, and the sun crossing the screen every few minutes. It's like actually being out there.

I should get to bed early. I have friends to meet....

Here's the one pic of me I really like. )
