DOUBLE DUPED!

Not only won't I be seeing Star Wars today, like I planned several months ago, but the ticket I bought for the Digitally Projected Star Wars on Sunday? It's not DLP AT ALL! The DLP one runs thirty minutes AFTER the one I bought.

ARRGGHH!!

Lucasfilm and my job are conspiring to wring money out of me aren't they? If I'd known I was buying tickets for the regular screen, I woulda gone to the Alamo Villiage. Dammit.

I'm half tempted to shell out for the 7:30 showing sunday just for the DLP. The camp out and see it three more times since I've already shelled out $27 in tickets ($18 of which will go to waste if Dean and Jill don't go see the movie today).

I don't often have nightmares, and when I do, I don't usually feel scared or threatened. I'm usually very calm. It's the realization of the horrors, not the horror that usually shakes me. Like today's dream that woke up me up MUCH too early.

RASA SOTO BETAWI & RASA SOTO KUDUS: If there's anythign I'm noticing, it's the the noodles just don't mean anything in these ramen packs. The soups are what are REALLY REALLY REALLY carrying the weight., The noodles themselves are pretty cheap.

But the soups, oh, man, the soups are really kicking ass. :)

Right now, I'm having the Rasa Soto Betawi ramen, and DAMN this one is good. it's some kind of curry based spicy onion broth The one I had this morning, the Kudus one, was curry onion based as well. The Rasa Soto one , though, has bits of real onion flakes in it, while Kudus seemed to have some kind of dehydrated bitter tasting flower petals, and a cilantro-y lime-y taste to it. It was also a very GREEN soup, compared to the Batawi which is yellow. Both taste EXCELLENT, and are highly recommended.

I was getting a little worried - of all the flavors I hadn't had before, the last couple just weren't that good, but these...yum. :9
