Mi Goreng Kakalang aka Skip Jack Tuna Fried Noodles - This one has broken the previous record of "Number of Packets." It's got SIX. Although two of those HAVE to have been some mannot of chilli powder. WOW.
The soup is just overrun by spices, which isn't a good thing to do, at least to my tastes. And I like spicy stuff. You get the hint of lightly cooked tuna, and the occasional fish oil taste...but the spice just ruins it, because you taste ot for ten seconds, and then taste NOTHING but chillis. Next time, I'm leaving the one chilli powder packet that's LABELLED chilli out. *** out of ***** - It's prolly a lot better with less chilli powder.
Mi Goreng Satay aka Satay Flavored Fried Noodles. This tastes exactly like vietnamese-ish/indonesian-ish peanut sauce, or, to my taste buds, COMPLETELY TASTELESS. It's like drinking mud. Flavorless thick mud. Yuck. 0 out of *****
