Something wierd just happened, wether related to the NEw ORleans events or not, I'm not sure. I was woken up by the sounds of what seemed like helicopters. I didn't get out of bed when I heard whatever it was fly over the first time, but I heard it two more times. The second time I got up, looking out the windows trying to see what was making that noise, I saw what looked like a Chinook helicopter, but it was so far away, I couldn't really make out anything other than it looked like a Chinook. A few minutes later, whatever it was flew over again, and seemed to be two large propeller planes, followed by four smaller propeller dog-fighter planes flying VERY low. I can still hear them now after five minutes, but they haven't flown overhead again.

There's no air force bases in Austin, the closest is Randolph AFB in Universal City near San Antonio. Anyone know if it's just some sorta airshow thing?
