IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Folks, something important I need to get off my chest, cause it's happening more and more often:

I have one public AIM Screenname: K1TANA. If you don't see her, I'm not online. And even if I am online, if she is not, then it means I'm off IMs, or using one of my private names.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not IM Emily to see if I'm online or ask if I will go online to talk. If K1tana isn't on, it means I don't want to talk or I'm unavailable to talk.

Emily is not my agent, nor do I pay her to be my go between, proxy or mother answering the door. If you want to IM her because she's a vibrant wonderful young woman, please do. But don't ask her if Jenn'll come out to play.

Likewise, do not ask me to relay messages to Erin Lindsey. Yes, I talk to her online. But I'm not HER agent, either

I've had a set of really bad dreams this week. Mostly about hiding and trying hard not to be found.

In one of them, I'm being hunted by monsters and find my way into a solid metal closet. I lock the door from the inside, and can hear these monsters walking outside, and then fall asleep in the closet because I feel safe.

It's a recurring theme all this week. If I can just keep still, not move or can lock myself away from the thing seeking me, I'm safe.

Today was the first time in a long time that a dream actually startled me and woke me up.

I was having some dinner at a friend's house, when the door gets busted down and the borg begin to come into the room. We all scatter, and I get into the bathroom, lock the door, get into the bathtub, and hide between the bathcurtains. I hear a drone bust the door down, walk past me and stop at the curtain. I hear the arm servos going like the drone is trying to find me, but I stay perfectly still. He walks off and after what seems like half an hour, I get out and find the house emptied. I walk outside and all seems okay, the suddenly a Borg Cube show up in the skies, and more drones begin assimilating the panicking crowd. I just in a car, roll up the windows, and lock it, and just hold tight. A drone comes to me, and attempts to get in. It can't get in, but I try hotwiring the car to drive off. I find the keys and leave, and start planning to find a way to stay in the car till the ship leaves.

These are the only two I remember in detail, but I've had hunt-and-hide dreams all week. They're kind of worrying. I almost never have bad dreams, but to have so many in a row really bothers me...
