Comics Updated! - AWFW - Or here if the RSS feed hasn't caught up..

Hopefully with the hints I've posted since the last parts of The Lesson of Patience, the beginning of Emm'a's turn rings true. She's had someone tell her her mother isn't what she is, has been cold to her the entire 14,000 years, and now this. There's one more episode in the "non-book" version of this storyline, so hopefully, if you weren't going to buy the book, this is enough to see where Emm'a is headed and why she became what she became. I'd love your opinions and reactions....

***slightly spoilerish***
The "Tribal Bitch" line has been in my head a VERY VERY VERY long time as "Will you destroy her soul? Just like you did with the Tribal Bitch's body you inhabit?" I kinda stepped back and cut it down. People should be slowly figuring out what Hanna is, and I felt that line would blurt it out too easily.

For the third night in a row, I've been under several blankets due to the gas leak in the furnace. For the third night in the row, I've gotten about four hours of sleep. This has made me incredibly irritable and angry. Maybe it's colored the preceptions of my day, but it's made me mean. Mean mad mean. I think I scared Dean off, and if I did, sorry, Dean.

When I left I noticed there was some kind of drizzle on my windshield. So I turned on my windshield wipers...they were stuck. The gunk on my windshield was like "aerosol" syrup. Tiny droplets of thick goo. While I tried to free up the windshield wiper, it actually tore away from the blade and STUCK TO THE WINDSHIELD. I managed to get home, and poured a bucket of water on the windshield (which ended running off really thickly :P ) and the blade finally peeled off.

When I tried to put the blade back together, I noticed that the blades were ruined. They were too small and the metal blades had been "clamped" into place to keep them where they were. Three guesses as to who did that.

We think someone was in the house last night - nothing is missing, but the laundry I started just before we left for the house hadn't finished. The washing machine was full of water with the lid up. I think the washer may have gone off balance and someone complained...maintenance may have come in and shut the washer off. Not happy about that at all. Nothing missing, but time was wasted, and another tick on the stress-o-meter.

Did I mention I'm allergic to something in the house? Dunno what yet, but I'd like to go to bed without hives one night.

I so need to be packing right now...
