Ever had one of those days, when you get one little nugget of news, and then another nugget of news...and the two nuggets kinda exist in your head until a neuron fires and connects the two? I just had one of those moments:

Nugget one: If you call our old number, the voice on the phone gives you our new number. I called our old number to get the new number.

Nugget two: A friend called my old number, and the voice gave him the new number. The number it is giving out is a wrong number.

Zap: All the folks repsonding to my resume in the last few weeks are either (1) getting a message with the wrong number or (2) calling the number I put on my resume...which is a wrong number.

And then that sinking feeling kicks in....

Health Update! Woo!

I may not be out of action for as long as I thought! In fact this entry (and the last) were typed up with both my hands. So things are looking a bit up!

A week ago I had no feeling in my hand, and couldn't put any pressure on my left foot (it turned out, whatever happened to my foot WAS related to whatever messed up my hand). Now only the very tips of my fingers (and funnily enough, the inner part of my middle finger) are numb, and the very flat sole of my heel is numb, and both are coming back slowly.

It's a one step backwards, two steps forward thing right now. Right now, at the end of my day, my hand feels pretty good. When I wake up, it'll be numb like crazy...but not as nub as the day before, and will "come back" faster each day.

I can type with both hands. although if I type too much, the tip of my middle finger begins to ache. I can hold a pencil again, although I haven't tried drawing yet. I still don't think I'm up to hours of drawing, (in fact, my fingertip is starting to ache as we speak).

Thanks again for all the well wishes (and to that one special person who, well, put me a good way to moving out for good).
