I'm not only having a NO! day, I'm having a NO! week. I've got one obligation I need to get out of the way, and I'm hoping to get it done soon. The rest of the time I'll prolly just be low maintenance, since anything I get into will not only fail, but fail spectacularly. Penance for something I'm sure.

My house is a pigsty, some of the NO! stuff applying there all week as I try to clean house only to have things go horribly wrong (I ran out of dishwasher soap, then found out I'm out of liquid soap, too, so now the plates are just kind of...festering till I get a paycheck).

With my next paycheck (After groceries and parental payback), I'm getting a cable modem. The apartment complex's "free internet" has finally broken me. I haven't been able to send mail out for a year now from my EMail program because we're on a spamlist, I can't send files to anyone over IM because the apartment firewall won't forward ports, and the bandwidth has slowed to a crawl. It's only $50 a month (assuming they don't make me get their cable service) - it'll eat into my moving out money, but I should still have a lot saved up by then.

The reworked storyline is coming along, and shouldn't destroy too too much. I'm also considering using what I have left of the music sparingly along the way.

Yesterday someone asked me what I was doing six years ago today. I kind of cringed, not because of what I was doing (sleeping), but because 9/11 has become a scapegoat by the government for everything we're doing that's just plain wrong. I feel for everyone who died, but the way we've chosen to remember it chills my bones.

On a related note, still missing Canada. Once you go maple, nothing else is stable.
