There are times when I don't know why I moved. Especially being homesick and outsider feeling like I was today. And then im reminded of something that happened in Vancouver.

We spilled a soda after a sharp turn coming back from Whistler and pulled into a church to clean up. While there some folks from the church noticed my Texas truck plates. They asked me what brought me up to Canada all the way from Texas.

I pointed at Emily and said "She's worth it."
