I feel like someone just handed me an uzi and told me to kill a mosquito.

We got the serpentine belt back on the truck and took it for a test ride - it seems to be driving just as well as before. We also think we figured out what happened. The ride in Bellevue had so so high, the tires were throwing ice into the engine. If any got on the fan belt, that would have started it slipping off. It was a few days after, but if it was off kilter enough, it could have sldi off days later.

Anyways, one small crisis averted. Several more to go.
