So...that's Portal. Huh.
Fun game, but really, for all the hype everyone makes about it, I kind of expected more. It's a good game, dont' get me wrong. But the puzzles took a little thinking, then came to me pretty naturally.
The turret arena near the end was the one that gave me the most trouble, but once I got the idea of just throwing turrets at the other turrets, it was too easy. As was the end. I finished it in about three days, of maybe two hours a day. Until someone told me Level 19 was it, I thought this was all the intro to the REAL game.
If there's anything this game made me think about was my crippling fear of falling...oh my god I fell. I fell a lot. SO SO SO SO SO A LOT. Most of the time I had to ptu the game away because I was shaking. Then I got into a nightmare scenario where I managed to portal myself to infinity...talk about frightening nightmare fodder for someone who is afraid of falling.
Still, it's funny as hell, I gotta give it that. And I want GLaDOS to sing to me. From very very far away.
Now I want cake.
