Panel 5 of episode 298 of Closetspace. I drew her so that she'd look like she was twirling in Zoe's Juliet costume, but it didn't come across that way. I'd hoped I could cheat it using a motion blur, but Illustrator's blur tools are just kinda goofy. I decided to leave it as is...if she's walking, skipping, twirling or do-si-do-ing, it doesn't matter, she's freaking happy.
I also tried another experment in this panel, where I inked the comic by hand like I used to, then had Illustrator convert that to shapes. While there's more ink detail, it's not as "Clean" as I'd wished it had been. I'll prolly go back to inking in illustrator again, or just regular inks.
Despite the two failures, I'm still REALLY happy with this pic.
