So there's a new smart phone out tonight. I bought my last two phones by charging the cost to my bill and paying the bill off over the course of weeks. So I'd been tucking $50 on my phone bill for the last two months to afford this one. It's not only $100 more dollars than was speculated, they want cash up front.

Well, at least I have two months of phone bills paid up. It was a nice thought.

Now the proud owner of a T-Mobile Sidekick 4G. Refurbished. For $50. Still better than what I've got, and two months of phone use is already paid. Well. I think. The system errored out trying to order it and now it says it's ordered, but my order isn't complete. REALLY disappointed in you, T-Mobile.

Final result: "Same as new" upgrade discount wasted on a refurbished year old p phone. Stuck with it for two years. Upside, the money I had saved for the Galaxy S 3 is prepaying a month or two of phone service.

Suddenly had a revelation about my time in Seattle, it's relationship to AwesomeJob and my friends. It's led to that feeling you get when you're a kid and it's Christmas Day...you look over to the clock and realize it's bedtime. Christmas is over.
