May be on the verge of a MASSIVE breakthrough on a Long Term Geek Project of mine: Mapping the Camino Real de los Tejas through South Texas where there is almost no trace left. Involves a 500+ mile ground survey from 1917, sizing paths to almost exact lengths, matching geographical notes to topographic maps, finding REASONS the roads shift and turn, and a heck of a lot of caffiene.
