Today begins the fourth year of a "three week at best" job. :)

I love working for you, Nintendo. And from what I've heard, you like having me there. I would like, very much, to keep working there. That said, on Feb 28th, I lose the lease on my house, and will end up moving home to Texas, where the cost of living is somewhat sane.

I've stayed in Seattle far far FAR longer than I needed to stay at the best company I've ever worked for. I would stay longer, if possible. Let's work something out, eh?

I have not written in the book since I got back from Texas. I'm in a very wierd place in the book, and real life. From the point I'm in in the book, my mother and I were in a kind of "cold war" for several years. We both did things that were probably not in each other's best interests.

We're in a much better place now. And I don't want to damage that. Not sure how to "attack" these next few years in the book.
