Looking at apartment prices in Austin compared to Seattle BLOWS MY MIND. 570 sq ft apartment in Renton, 20 miles from Seattle: $980. 600 sq ft right in Downtown Austin is $1000. If I lived in Jollyville, they drops to $750. If I freaking moved to San Antonio (which I actually won't), you're talking of a drop to $500 for a high end apartment.
