May. 8th, 2013 12:45 pmWhen San Francisco legalized Gay Marriage, and the backlash against it began, I felt, in the end, that this was happening too early. Too much of the US was against gay marriage, and the backlash would lock in anti-gay-marriage sentiment into law. When Prop 8 passed, I felt I was in the right, and that we were on the way to solidifying that anti-gay sentiment. I felt we needed another 20 years before the atmosphere in the US would be favorable to gay marriage, and that's when we should strike.
I'm happy to say I was wrong.
