After four years of a very festive and friend filled Christmases, this year I'm feeling a little lonely. Had a good Skype time with my Cascadian family. I needed that. Miss you and love you. ::hugs::

When I was making the SFJenn game back in 1994, in keeping with the thoroughly stolen graphics and sound, I also was going to steal this music from Doom for Mileena's stage.

In the end it sounded repetitive and boring with the incredibly primitive single track midi player in the game, and I went with a different track from Mortal Kombat 2 (Living Forest) which sounded just as bad as the Doom track. I eventually just swapped in one of the Korean MDI files that already came with the game engine, which is probably one of the best pieces in the game.

Apparently the Doom composer stole it from Pantera's Mouth for War! :D

Here's what I was gonna steal from Doom for Kitana's music in the SFJenn Game. It actually sounded good in the single track Midi player, but was WAY too slow. Good players would only hear maybe the first ten to 15 seconds of the music, which is just that guitar over and over again.

I ended up using the Original Title music to the Korean SFIBM game, a rocking version of Ryu's music in the final game.

Andif you have no idea what this "SFJenn" game is all about...back in the early 90s, there was no SF2 game worth playing on the PC. Some folks in Korea made a homemade version called SFIBM...that wasn't very good.

Derek Liu and Brian Chan got a hold of it, cleaned up the game, and released a much more playable version called SFLiu.

I took their project and added Mileena and Kitana to it. When the SFIBM folks in Korea released a new version, I moved the graphics and programming over to that and called it SFJenn 1.5. There was a 2.0 in the works, but real life got in the way, as it usually does.

There was an SFJenn 2.0 in the works (actually before the 1.5 came out) which was going to be a total conversion with a whole lot of new (mostly female) characters. I never got past the poses, though. I did the 1.5 instead since it was a LOT easier.

Most of the chintzier graphics come from the Korean engine, only the poses and the select screen pictures of Bison/Sagat/Balrog/Vega are mine.

I'd planned to add Raiden to the game as well!
