While talking with Scott over dinner, an interesting twist came up as to why I was never hired full time at Nintendo came up: I was too valuable where I was.

I'd always gotten little hints and asides saying that the Wifi group there thought pretty highly of me. There want anything overt except for that one award I got, which a coworker deserved more than me...I just took her ball and ran with it.

Still...it wouldn't have changed anything. I still had to leave because I could afford to stay on what they were paying. And, let's be honest: I'm not cut out for management and was pretty good where I was. ;)

Today, were being trained by a substitute trainer and it had been magnificent. She's been engaging, energetic and keeps is on our toes.

As much as I like being trained by one of the founders of the company...the Cult of Apple style lecturing of buzzwords and visions really get to you.

Grinding through Majora's Mask to just get it over and done with. Quickly realizing Link is a Kevorkianish Angel of Death in this game. O_o
