Apr. 23rd, 2014 05:10 amI've added the scenes from the (possibly) Dennis Clark draft of Star Trek: The Motion Picture to the synopsis whatever the heck it is I'm making thingy. It was a wierd read. It's definitely the movie, but with a twist that no one is happy to be there, Decker is a real jerk, and the Ilia Probe is pleasantly obtuse to the panic around her.
I've also added some scenes from the first draft script by Harold Livingston. Why the heck they didn't just film that script, I'll never know. It's good. REAL good.

Apr. 23rd, 2014 05:22 pmJenn's Pacific Northwest Stomping Grounds. Kind of a boundary map, not so much a road map. As you can tell, my favorite area was out in the Western Cascades, but I also did go out of my way to visit the areas south of Olympia. Felt a lot like rural Texas out there for me.

Apr. 23rd, 2014 05:28 pmBeing very poor, there was very little exploring in Pennsylvania. Mostly going to Dean's family in Lock Haven. In five years, I actually never crossed the mountains towards Huntingdon. In fact, the southwest border of my travels was just outside my workplace.

Apr. 23rd, 2014 05:46 pmAnd finally Jenn's Texas Stomping Ground. Woah, mama.
Three decades of exploring makes this a pretty huge area. I know most every nook and cranny on it as well. Favorite part? Mostly anything northwest of I 35, but if I had to choose a specific area, it would be Kendall and Gillespie counties.
When making the map, I was surprised to see that areas really close to San Antonio and Austin didn't make the cut.
I blame living in Northwest San Antonio for the lack of visits to the south east...you have to get through town.
No excuse for the lack of visits to the Northeast of Austin. Its so...flat and nothingish out there. Should explore or more nonetheless. Maybe something out there will find me.
